Alan Vega - Saturn Strip (Near Mint)

Here we have Alan Vega's 'Saturn Strip' from 1983, produced by Ric Ocasek (The Cars) who also plays on the record along with Al Jourgensen and Stephen George (Ministry). There's even a cameo from Ric's Cars bandmate Greg Hawkes. This is a beautiful copy in near-mint condition, opened but still in shrink, crisp corners with a "cutout" hole-punch in the bottom right corner. Alan Vega was a founding member of the band SUICIDE before making solo records and other musical projects. Would you believe us if we told you that around this time, Alan Vega also made a rare 7" (we don't have one - yet) with Alex Chilton (Big Star, The Box Tops) and Ben Vaughn who went on to produce Ween's record 12 Golden Country Greats and created all of the music for the TV sitcoms "That 70's Show" and "Third Rock from the Sun?"
